Closing date for registration

The closing date for short course registrations is specified on the registration form and is usually three weeks prior to the commencement date. Late registrations will be considered depending on availability of places.

 

Withdrawal/Cancellation of Registration

You can cancel your enrolment without penalty up to 15 working days prior to the commencement of a short course. Should you need to cancel a booking, a full refund will be given if advised in writing at least 15 working days before the commencement date. Cancellations made less than 15 working days prior to the commencement date will incur an administration fee, which is 20% of the registration price.

 

You may substitute another participant up to the start of a short course without penalty. If you do not attend a short course and have not advised us in writing before the commencement date, the full fee will apply.

 

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 15 working days from the course commencement date, or from the date written notification of cancellation is received. Refunds will not be given for non-attendance or cancellation after the commencement date.

 

UTS reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule a short course if circumstances necessitate. A full refund will be provided for the cancellation of any short course.

 

GST

Most prices for short courses are Goods and Services Tax (GST) inclusive. UTS short courses are usually GST free as they are either accredited, or seek to increase employment related skills and knowledge. However, in-company customised short courses are subject to a GST charge.

 

Privacy

UTS will only collect and store personal information to provide educational services to you. By submitting your details to UTS you consent to the collection, processing and use of that data for administration of the short course you attend and for future marketing of UTS short courses.

 

UTS will not otherwise, without your consent, use or disclose the information you provide for any other purpose.

 

If you do NOT wish to receive future promotional material about UTS Courses, then please tick the appropriate box on the registration form and/or click the opt-out option on the online “Express Interest” link. You can email the relevant UTS Short Course Unit to remove your name from the UTS Short Courses database at any time.
