What is meant by Run-on-Demand?
This
website lists short courses that have been Scheduled and are run on a
regular basis. Also listed, are short courses that are Run-On-Demand.
These short courses will run when demand requires. In other words, only when
enough people have expressed their interest will the short course be scheduled.
Those who have expressed interest will then be notified of further details.
You can also
express interest in a short course on behalf of an organisation. The short
course can be scheduled and conducted exclusively for your organisation, either
at a UTS campus or at a venue specified. Please contact one of our Short Course
Units, listed in the “Contact Us” page, for more information.
How do I search for a Short Course?
You can search for a short course by clicking on
the page titled “Find a Short Course”.
To search for a short course you can use one or any
combination of the following fields: Category, Keyword and/or Commencement
Date.
Category: This
criterion is used to group courses to assist your navigation on the website.
Categories should be viewed as broad headings that group together different
short courses that may be of interest. If you leave it blank, the system will
search across All Categories.
Keyword search: Enter a
character string, such as a keyword, and the system will search for all
occurrences in the title and description of all short course
records.
Commencement Date: Including
a date will limit the search of scheduled short courses to a particular
timeframe. It would not include short courses yet to be scheduled, or those
Run-On-Demand.
